Being new to the practice, I hope he’s open to emulating his fathers warmth and working on his communication skills with younger kids. Wait times are my only issue that absolutely needs to change. 10-15 minutes to get to a chair 40-50 minutes sitting in the chair after the tech does her part to then see the doctor for 1-2 minutes. The staff is wonderful and I have so much respect for them as they line up patiently waiting to get the doctors attention. Fast forward to my mid 60’s, yes, beyond Spring... Chicken, my teeth are getting crooked. First I notice my lower front teeth “doing their thing” which started grossly affecting my top front teeth!Advancing in years is tough enough but to have my dazzling smile going down the tubes was the worst!I quickly polled friends with kids and my physicians for their recommendation of an orthodontist; the unanimous response was Dr. Lints!The teeth straightening experience can be very overwhelming to say the least! They were calm, patient, and understanding when he... was experiencing severe anxiety about starting orthodontic treatment. He was a handful, but they —particularly Courtney— were so great with him and got him through the initial phase of treatment.Our orthodontic experience has been a bit different than it is for most people. Eight months into treatment we moved out of state. No one in our new area would take our son as a transfer patient. Rather than ripping everything out and starting over, we went back to Dr. Lints to continue treatment despite having to travel. That decision not only allowed our son to continue with the ortho plan we felt was best for him; it also allowed us to come back to visit friends and family every couple of months. It was a win-win situation really.A year after beginning orthodontic treatment our son was diagnosed with leukemia. His oncologist wanted the braces removed in the event he ended up dealing with mouth sores from the chemotherapy. Rather than completely stopping treatment, Dr. Lints, without question, switched him to Invisalign. It got rid of the metal in his mouth, has been more comfortable for him than the traditional braces, and has kept his treatment going without having to do in-person visits as often. With the unpredictability of his cancer mixed with pandemic restrictions, it has been so nice to have more flexibility in his ortho treatment schedule.Shortly after having the initial Invisalign visit, we received a call from Dr. Lint’s office and were told he and his Invisalign rep were going to cover the remaining cost of our son’s orthodontic treatment. We were floored! Having one less bill to worry about while dealing with our son’s other medical treatments and expenses has been such a blessing to us. We will never forget the kindness, care, and concern Dr. Lints and his team have shown our family. We are also incredibly grateful for the extra safety measures taken during our visits to keep our son healthy. This is a team that truly cares about their patients.We are coming to the tail end of orthodontic treatment which is kind of crazy to think about. Our son’s jaw has been fixed without needing surgery, and his smile looks amazing! We recommend Dr. Lints to all our TC friends looking for an orthodontist.
